What is the Pastoral Council?
The Council is made up of parishioners whose purpose is to investigate pastoral matters, consider them thoroughly, and propose practical conclusions about them to our Pastor.
What is the commitment?
The meetings are monthly on a Monday night. We are currently meeting via Zoom.
The first meeting for new members will be in September. Terms are for three years.
What are the qualifications for membership?
- Baptized and confirmed Roman Catholics in good standing with the Church;
- Registered and supporting member of the parish;
- Participant in parish life;
- In possession of an understanding of and commitment to the Church in accord with the principles of Vatican II;
- Committed to prayer, study, listening, and dialogue;
- Committed to giving the time needed for participation; and
- Noted for faith, good morals, and prudence.
To indicate your interest in serving on the Pastoral Council:
- Send an email to the Chair, Vice-Chair, or Secretary of the Pastoral Council to put forth your name (or to nominate another.)
- Please CC both Monsignor Mike and Father Joe
- Include a brief one sentence message indicating your interest.
- Be sure to include your name and contact information.
