Water Walk Update
This weekend we will finish Sunday programming with a brand new event event we are calling Water Walk. In conjunction with the Global Compassion Inc. group, Middle and High School Formation will meet at Blessed Sacrament from 6-8pm.
What do you need?
*A bucket (5 gallons if you have it, but any bucket will do. Extras are available.)
*Masks (We will be outside for the entirety of the event, but will gather in large group in the parking lot.)
*Permission slip for students without a parent (Attached. Students participating with their families do not need a form)
*Donations (Any donation you would like to make, even a dollar! All donations will go to helping provide a new well for clean drinking water)
How far would you walk for water????
6K in a day? 4 miles every day just for water – to cook, clean, drink, bathe
That is the average distance in 3rd world countries.
Normally it is the daughter or mother – so who will it be in your family?
Did you know? Nearly 1 Billion people do not have access to clean, safe water.
Join us for this experience on Sunday, April 25 from 6 – 8 pm
Bring your bucket and your whole family to Blessed Sacrament
as we walk to Plymouth Park to fill our buckets.
It is our turn to walk for water and bring hope to the hopeless.
Brought to you in partnership by Global Compassion, Inc. and Faith Formation
