MAY IS THE MONTH OF MARY
May is Mary’s month! “May Crowning” is a traditional Catholic ritual that occurs in the month of May and it recognizes Mary as Queen of heaven and earth. Join us Saturday, May 1st, after the 9 am Mass for our May Crowning in the CHURCH.
*Update - MAY CROWNING WILL BE IN THE CHURCH due to the weather forecast.
Feel free to drop off flowers for Mary in the Mary Garden by the PLC or in the Church throughout the weekend.
PASTORAL COUNCIL DISCERNMENT FOR NEW MEMBERS
All parishioners are invited to participate in the Discernment for six (6) new Pastoral Council members for 2021:
When: Saturday, May 8th, from 9:00 am to approx. 2:00 pm (lunch provided)
Where: St. Angela Merici Church for Mass, then the San Damiano room in the Parish Life Center
The purpose of the Pastoral Council is to act as stewards of the St. Angela Merici pastoral plan. We are looking for candidates from all walks of parish life – from involvement in a wide variety of ministries, from cultural backgrounds, age groups, family structures, etc. We need the make-up of our Pastoral Council to reflect our community.

ALL DAY THURSDAY ADORATION
Starting May 6th, Eucharistic Adoration will return on Thursdays from 9:45 am to 6:45 pm every week.

HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS INVITED TO STEUBENVILLE LONE STAR CONFERENCE
After our "virtual" year, Youth Ministry is so excited to announce that we are headed back to the Steubenville Conference in Dallas. Steubenville is open to incoming HS Freshman (21-22) through graduating HS Seniors (Class of 2021). Check out all of the information and sign up HERE.
THURSDAY MORNING MASS RETURNS
The 9 am Thursday Morning Mass returns May 6th. Following the 9:00 am Mass, the Blessed Sacrament will be exposed in Adoration until 6:45 pm with a 7:00 pm Mass to close the evening.

PRESCHOOL SUMMER CAMPS
Ages 2 - 5 yrs (by June 1, 2021)
Each session consists of a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
Our activities will be based on God's Great Big World, and each week has a different theme!

WHAT IS A PROGRESSIVE ROSARY?
The progressive rosary is designed to have each host location represent a decade from the rosary. Parishioners will drive from location to location praying the rosary with their families. There are 5 hosts that have created signs that will represent a decade of the rosary. At each location, there will be the address of the next host's location.

MOTHER'S DAY FLOWERS FOR SALE
Mother’s Day flowers will be for sale after all morning Masses on Sunday, May 09th at the front of the church by the Filipino Community at St. Angela Merici. Proceeds of this fundraiser will go towards the St. Angela Merici Building Fund.
