May is the month dedicated for honoring Mary, the Blessed Mother, the Mother of God, the Queen of Heaven and Earth. We celebrate motherhood, a beautiful part of the nature of women, whether it is through parenthood or the nurturing of others. There are many ways to honor Mary and motherhood including praying the Rosary, praying a novena to Mary and doing something special for the women in our lives. Another way to celebrate motherhood and promote a culture of life is to give to organizations that support motherhood. 9:30 Mass in church. Thanks to the parishioners have taken the announcements about the limited capacity of the church into consideration. If attendance at the 9:30 Mass exceeds the capacity of the church, a Communion Service is offered in the hall, typically led by one of our deacons. Father has inquired with the Regional Vicar and there is no movement to reduce social-distancing requirements by the Archdiocese. Please keep these realities in mind, when planning your weekend Mass attendance.
Cemetery Guidelines during Mowing Season During mowing season flowers can only be in vases on the side next to the stone; on the head stone or over the head stone. There cannot be any planting of flowers or shrubs in the cemetery. Also, no glass containers or ornaments on the ground; only on the head stone and attached securely. We will have no choice but to remove the above items if the guidelines are not followed. Thank you.

Respect Life
Seventh Month (size: about 15 inches) Beginning this month the baby uses all four senses. His eyelids open and close, and the eyes look around. The baby can taste, touch, cough, yawn and hiccup. He now recognizes his mother’s voice. His grip is even stronger now than it will be after his birth. The hair on his head is growing longer and the downy covering on the rest of his body is disappearing. During this time the baby will receive antibodies from his mother providing him immunity to a wide variety of diseases.

Summer Day Camp at O'Dwyer. The Msgr. O'Dwyer Retreat House will be starting a. outdoor, faith-filled, fun, summer day camp this year for incoming 1st through 5th graders. All CDC and Baltimore County safety precautions will be strictly followed.
Help Wanted. There are five openings for staff, four for junior counselors, and five for volunteer counselors in training. Applications for camp and staff are located on the website.
