Your friends make known, O Lord, the glorious splendor of your kingdom. (Psalm 145: 10-11)
The psalm response expresses the sentiment that God’s friends are the ones who make known the “glorious splendor” of the kingdom. True friends are vital in life. Apart from family, they are the ones who most sustain us when times are difficult or when doubts assail us.
Name the friends who mean the most to you. How well do you treat them? How deep do you believe your friendship to be? Say a prayer for each one of your friends and resolve to spend a little more quality time with them.
