Dear Fatima Faithful,
As our dearly beloved brethren have now entered into full communion with the Catholic Church, and RCIA has ended for this season, I now have some time to cover 'Catholic Legends and Their Legendary Thinking'! Starting Sunday after 9am Mass (around 10am) I will explore in the Parish Hall a variety of Catholic heroes and their main thoughts.
I will start at the beginning of the post Apostolic period with the great St Ignatius of Antioch, disciple and friend of St John the Beloved and third Bishop of Antioch. We will look at his letters written on the way to Rome before being martyred, and his theology. Besides being a profound witness of the early Church, he was a top notch mystical writer. If you are interested, please mention it in the comment section so I get an idea of how many copies to make! It should last about 1 hour and if it spills over, those wishing to go to the 11am Mass can slip away at their convenience.
Sincerely in the Heart of Christ,
Cameron
