Grounds Beautification &
Community Garden Project
The St. James beautification project has begun. We are excited to announce the rejuvenation of the landscaping around the building. Our Parish has successfully made our building strong and everlasting with the brick-by-brick project, now it is time to create the colorful backdrop that will continue to grow just as our parish continues to grow.
What’s happening?
The Garden Ministry is working hard to create an inviting exterior for our beautiful church. They have been hard at work weeding and transplanting existing plants to the newly bricked areas. A new Community Garden has been cleared and is just about ready for plants. Our Community Garden will help provide healthy options for all of our families with food insecurities. This new garden will be located on the southern side of the building. We are eager to grow fresh produce to help provide families with healthy food options. The garden ministry has also begun working on plans for a Memorial Garden on the east side of the church that will be planted next year.
We need your help!
The Garden Ministry needs your help to accomplish the creative canvas they are dreaming of. With your help of time, talent and donations we can achieve the backdrop our building deserves.
