Flower Patron Saints for Mother's Day Weekend:
Nancy Bryce donated the flowers in Mary's Chapel for a powerful intention of unity in the family and healing for nephew, Landon.
Alma Nivet donated the carnations for the May Crowning for the intention of a full recovery of Nicholas' heart ailments and valve replacement.
Let us unite our prayers with theirs for these special intentions. Lord, hear our prayers.
Parish Religious Education Program (PREP) News
Confirmation Rehearsal: Saturday, May 15, from 11:00 AM - 12:15 PM, for Confirmation Candidate and Sponsor. If your sponsor cannot attend, a parent or older sibling may stand in. If you need more information, please call Hope Benson, at 301.490.5116.
Confirmation will be celebrated on May 16, at 11:30 AM. Candidates and Sponsors, please arrive by 10:45 AM. We will meet in the Social Hall.
Mother's Day Baby Shower to Benefit Laurel Pregnancy Center
Deepest appreciation to all who brought the gifts for the newborn babies of the Laurel Pregnancy Center for Mother's Day. All the recipients and staff are so grateful for your generosity. Look for the copies of their May Prayer and Praise Letter in the back of the church and in the Hall.

Medical Director: We are currently seeking a medical director. The ideal candidate will be an OB/GYN, licensed by the state of Maryland and in good standing. Our medical director recently passed away. Please keep her, Dr. Elizabeth Mubiru, in your prayers for the happy repose of her soul, and us as we grieve the loss of this joyful, loving soul.
Office Manager/Bookkeeper: This position offers flexible hours for evenings and Saturdays, at 12 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of QuickBooks accounting software experience.
The Eucharist:
You are invited to a Zoom class on The Eucharist. This is a four-part video series by Bishop Barron. We will meet for four Thursdays -- May 13, 20, 27 and June 3 -- from 7:00 to 8:45 pm. The Eucharist is the heart of our faith and understanding it at a deeper level will enrich our relationship with Jesus. I hope you will join me! Please spread the word and invite others.
