will begin at St. Mary of the Falls, May 25th. It is a 20-week study, presented by Jeff Cavins (“Bible Timeline” and the Matthew study).
“Acts: The Spread of the Kingdom”
will begin at St. Mary of the Falls, May 25th. It is a 20-week study, presented by Jeff Cavins (“Bible Timeline” and the Matthew study).
The Acts of the Apostles tells of the founding of the Christian church and the spread of its message. Luke, its author, begins his sequel to his Gospel by noting how the second work is a continuation of the first, because the life of Jesus is recapitulated in the life of the Church. The story of Jesus has not ended but rather has taken on a new form in the life of the Church.
We will meet Tuesday evenings at 7:00 PM in the Parish Hall. Each session includes a 50-minute video and a time for discussion.
Each participant should have a “Study Set” (couples can share). The set includes:
