Confirmation Mass, Saturday, May 15, 10:00 AM
Outdoors, weather permitting. The Mass is being live-streamed on the St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church Pylesville Facebook page. Please join us in congratulating our Confirmation Class of 2021! These young men and women have prepared well and we are overjoyed as they receive the Sacrament . They are: Jenna Amrhein, Luke Dawson, Michael Dlugokenski, Samantha Dlugokenski, Julia Eakes, Tia Gay, Kaitlin Grimm, Ryan Mahns, John McCarty IV, Sofia Pobletts, Austin Schmidt, and Brandon Zulauf.
Many thanks to our Confirmation Catechists, Peer Ministers, Sponsors, Families, Parish Staff, Outdoor Liturgy/Tent Set Up Crew, and Music Ministry, who have helped in guiding these students on their journey in the Spirit and helped with our Confirmation Mass.
Coronavirus Restrictions Changing.
9:30 and 11:30 Masses in the Church this weekend. Use every other pew in the church. Masks are still required. The Archdiocese has issued several changes to the policies governing activities and liturgies in parishes. Father Kunkel, the Parish staff, and the Liturgy Committee are reviewing the guidance as it is released. Expect to see more changes to the Mass in future weeks. Our Daily Bread. The frozen casseroles must be placed in the Parish freezer by May 16th.
Golden Jubilee Celebration, May 23, 11:30 AM Mass Outdoors. Archbishop Lori will celebrate the 11:30 Mass on May 23 outdoors, behind the Parish Center, weather permitting. Bring your family, masks, singing voice, and chairs to join us under the trees for the joyous Feast of Pentecost. Pray for a beautiful day!
In the event of bad weather, a notice will be sent out approximately one hour before Mass and the celebration will move into the Parish Hall.
On Mary 23 only, Mass will be live-streamed at 11:30 AM. Live-stream Mass will return to 9:30 AM the following Sunday, May 30.
