Fr. Chepponis' favorite movie is The Wizard of Oz (1939). One of the delightful characters is the Cowardly Lion. He is the one who lacks "courage" and is anxious to find some as he accompanies Dorothy to Oz.
Most of us will never be called upon to be martyred, though there are some modern martyrs for the faith. How can you bear witness to the truth of the gospel? Could it involve defending life from natural conception to natural death? Opposing bigotry, rascism or other forms of discrimination? Counteracting gossip and lies?
