Good Afternoon,
Change can be difficult, but it is also inevitable. Nothing stays the same forever. At schools we are used to the changes that come with the year-to-year turnover of students, teachers, and administration. This year our entire parish will be dealing with change, as Father Farrar has announced that he will be taking a new assignment beginning July 1st. Obviously, this is a major announcement and one that will impact us all, even if we don't know how just yet.
Father Farrar has been an amazing advocate for the school since he began here almost 6 years ago. His guidance, both spiritual and as an administrator, has been a blessing and will be truly missed. He believes strongly in the power of Catholic education and done a great deal to try and help us be successful. I can assure you that he wishes nothing but success for us moving forward.
While we don't yet know who his replacement will be, there is unlikely to be any immediate changes at the school. I am excited to work with the new pastor to continue the great things we have begun and to see what can be done to continue to grow. Personally, I will miss the steady leadership and consistent message that Father Farrar has provided. I am grateful for his guidance and mentorship and wish him success and happiness. I am also excited for the opportunity that change inevitably brings. I am sure that we will be learning more about the new pastor in the coming weeks.
God Bless,
Mr. O'Neill
