Hello Blessed Trinity Families,
We have been working hard and praying harder to find excellent staff for next year and now I am so excited to introduce you all to three of our newest teachers at Blessed Trinity! Patrick Francis graduates from UW-Madison this spring with a Music Education degree and will be working both at the parish and in the school. The students have the great privilege of having Mr. Francis teach music twice a week this upcoming school year! Ms. Taylor Gage, (soon to be Mrs. Taylor David!) will be teaching our 4K/K class. She hails from Iowa and earned her bachelors in Education in only three and half years! Taylor has been a building substitute down in Verona this past year and is well acquainted with students of all ages and needs. Morgan Cacic is a mom of two and will be teaching our 5/6 grade classroom. She specialized in German and has two Master’s degrees. I cannot wait for you to learn more about each of these awesome teachers in the months to come!
Understandably, many families have expressed concern about the teacher shortage schools are facing these days. However, I firmly believe that God has provided and answered our prayers with excellent candidates -- and quickly, too! We are certainly blessed to already be ahead of the hiring game in this area. This is in huge part to you - the wonderful families that make up Blessed Trinity. Our new teachers have expressed how impressed they are with the culture of our school, the vibrancy of the learning environment, and the overall family-like atmosphere. Another reason why our school is thriving will be the physical changes that are taking place this summer: an upgrade to our parking lot, major updates to the gym bathrooms, and a much needed and appreciated storage space for our gym and kitchen equipment. In addition to all of these wonderful things, the teachers and I have met several times already to narrow down our NEW curriculum and technology purchases for the 2021-2022 school year!! We, the teachers, may be the most excited about this last hurrah, but you should be too: our academics are a top priority to be on par with, if not to exceed, the public schools around our area. We know that knowledge is one of the greatest gifts God has given us and we are dedicated to helping develop our future’s critical thinkers.
If you haven’t already, I urge you to enroll for next year soon! As Fr. Joe has said repeatedly, every child who wishes to attend Blessed Trinity School can attend regardless of the economic status of their family. Because of the generosity of many supporters of Blessed Trinity School, through tuition assistance, our school is an affordable option for every family.
Also what many don't know is that busing is available for our students from Lodi and surrounding area. Please do not hesitate to come take a tour, sit in on a classroom, meet with a teacher or ask me questions. I look forward to hearing from you and getting to know each of you.
All the best,
Alicia Zepp
