Dear Walla Walla Catholic School families,
Another exciting week of Catholic education is in the books, and there are precious few remaining for the year! Please be aware of these important dates and events as we approach the end of the school year:
- Spring Sports Awards - May 23, 6:30 PM in DeSales Cafeteria
- DeSales ASB speeches and election - Tuesday, May 25th
- Senior Sneak Day - May 24
- Memorial Day - Monday, May 31 (No school)
- DeSales End of the Year awards ceremony - Thursday, June 3 at 1:00 PM in the DeSales gym
- Senior parents are invited to join us, we will have more information about this event next week!
- Theatre Arts performance: "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" - Thursday, June 3 at 7:00 PM on DeSales Stage
- DeSales High School Baccalaureate Mass - Saturday, June 5 at 10:00 AM at Assumption Church
- DeSales High School Graduation - Sunday, June 6 at 5:00 PM in the DeSales gym
- Winter Sports Awards - Monday, June 7 at 6:30 PM in the DeSales Cafeteria
- DeSales Finals Exams - June 9, 10, and 11
- DeSales 8th grade Promotion Mass - Friday, June 11 at 4:00 PM at Assumption Church
Latest Athletics Update
It has been awesome seeing folks show up to watch our DeSales Irish teams battle it out on the basketball court this past week! Even though this is a short season for our kids, we have packed in a lot a games. For those of you that are unable to make it to the gym in person, we will be live-streaming all the home Varsity games on our WWCS YouTube Channel.
On Friday (tomorrow), we have:

Girls V vs. Colton 6:00pm
Boys V vs. Liberty Christian 7:30pm
*Boys were supposed to play Tekoa-Rosalia but they had to cancel due to Covid-19 reasons.

Girls V Vs. Liberty Christian 5:00pm

Painting Volunteer Opportunity!
June 22-25 at both schools
If you still have volunteer hours to contribute for this year, consider helping us spruce up our school by painting some classrooms June 22 – June 26! We will be painting from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, so you are welcome to come for one hour or even for the whole day!. We won’t have a problem social distancing. We are hoping to be able to paint 5 classrooms at each school this year – come join the fun!
If you are interested in getting involved with this painting project, contact Brittany Phillips, our lead custodian. In your email, let Brittany know what days/hours you are available, and she will get you on the schedule!
Purchase Some WWCS Scrip!
Spring time is graduation time, and Scrip cards make excellent graduation gifts! By placing your order early you eliminate the scramble and you get just the amount you need!
To purchase WWCS Scrip, email the WWCS business office with the card value, quantity of cards, and the date by which you need them. We’ll take care of the rest!
We place orders every Tuesday at 8:00 AM for Friday delivery.
WWCS Holy Hour
Wednesdays at 4:00 PM - St. Patrick Church
The WWCS Wednesday Holy Hour has now moved to St. Patrick Church at 4:00 PM. Even though this remains a Walla Walla Catholic Schools event, it is still open to the community and we hope that you will join us in prayer!
