MARATHON WINNER!
Bobby turned in the most pledges last week and won a candy bar for a week. He also won the Holy Cross hat.
His family also won a $50 Scrip gift card for having the most pledges turned in overall. $1,550! WOW! Congratulations, Bobby!
The Simones family came in a close second with $1,500 in pledges and also won a $50 Scrip gift card. HOORAY!

All students who turned in $250 or more in pledges took a guess at the number of M&Ms in this jar for a chance to win it. Chloe won the jar of YUM with her closest guess. Way to go!
There were 39 students who turned in $250 or more in pledges! For their hard work, Father VanDenBroeke treated all 39 to a bag of M&Ms!
Many, many students received 10 or more individual pledges and won VanDen Cookies! Students will be rewarded with this special treat soon! YUM!

FALL PLAY ANNOUNCEMENT
Child's Play Theatre will be accepting registrations for the fall play Treasure Island.

- Auditions: Oct. 4 from 3 - 4:30 p.m.
- Rehearsals: Oct. 30, Nov. 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 8 , 9 from 3 - 5:30 p.m.
- Performances: Friday Nov. 10 at 1:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
- Cost to participate in the play is $20/student

PLAY SYNOPSIS
Jim Hawkins is a normal kid who doesn't like his vegetables. But it's Halloween and there will be no trick-or-treating if he doesn't eat, so his mom sends him to his room. Once there, Jim starts to dream of being a pirate, "out on the high seas, diggin' for gold doubloons." But is it a dream? Before he knows it, Jim is sailing on the Hispaniola headed for the famous treasure on Skeleton Island. Join Jim as he battles Long John Silver and his pirates for the lost treasure of Captain Flint.
Join Jim on his adventure to find the treasure. There are 30 speaking parts with a variety of non-speaking roles as Pirates and Native Islanders.
