VOTE IN PARISH PASTORAL COUNCIL ELECTION:
This weekend May 22-23 we conduct our Pastoral Council Election. We have 5 openings on the council. Please prayerfully consider your vote.
Please review SHORT BIOs of Candidates listed in alphabetical order:
Arthur Eckert: Greetings, I am Arthur M. Eckert IV. After a long spiritual journey (ask me!), the Lord has guided me home to the Catholic Church. I was welcomed into the Church in January and joined the Knights of Columbus soon after. I am looking forward to the opportunities to serve our church and community.
Dawn Grail: I am on FIRE~~~Bursting at the seams with passion!! I envision our Parish as the launching pad for every single person to experience a deep and personal relationship with Jesus!! While I would normally list the myriad of experiences/skill sets I could bring to this position, my message is simple: I am here and wholeheartedly commit to serving you in the Lord's work of our Parish!
Leo Gribbin: My wife, Elaine, and I have been members of St. Patrick’s for many years. We have four adult children all of whom attended St. Patrick grade school and on whose school board I served in the past. I am a practicing attorney and served as past president of the York County Bar Association.
Theresa McConville: I attended Catholic Schools from Kindergarten through college at St Mary’s Notre Dame where I received a BA in English Literature. I have been married for 53 years to John McConville and have four grown children and 11 grandchildren. I taught second grade CCD, First Communion and Reconciliation, for seven and a half years at St Rose before joining St Patrick 20 years ago. I have also been an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion for 25 years. I have been involved with many charitable organizations in York including Children and Youth Services, the Thrift Shop for the Junior League, CASA, and the Women’s Giving Circle, part of the York County Community Foundation.
Sean Smith: Growing up as a Catholic going to public school, I had the unique opportunity to express my faith to those who had either never been exposed, or never wanted to hear about it. It was and is a difficult task to be that light in the world, but with the support of my family and upbringing in the parish, I was prepared to know, proclaim, and defend my faith. With the opportunity to serve on the Parish Council, I hope to represent and lead those who desire to share the light in a confused and shepherd-less world.
Scott Stevens: Scott has been a proud St. Patrick parishioner since 2002 and is blessed to have found a parish that has helped him grow so much in his faith. He'd like to do what he can in return to improve and grow the parish. Currently, he is a lector and helps stream Mass to the internet. He is director of the Baltimore County Law Library.
