Hello, Everyone!
Has it really already been a week since you dropped your child off at St.James Preschool?
Time flies! I'm not sure these little people understood that last Thursday was the last day of preschool for this year.
We spent our last week together celebrating with friends, finishing up projects & making sure all of those creations made it home! Mrs. A & I hope everything made it home safely!
And of course Mrs. A & I know you've enjoyed going down memory lane as you looked at photos.
Thank you to everyone who gave a present, a card or came to the retirement reception last Thursday! I really appreciate all the comments & gifts!
But what was the best gift?
Having the privilege of getting to know, play, learn & teach your child here at St.James!
It is a bit mind boggling to think how many lives I've touched in the course of 32 years of teaching preschool! What fun!
However, I am looking forward to my retirement!
Spending more time with my husband, sleeping in ... doing more of the things I enjoy doing, like tending to our flower garden, reading (without falling asleep!), drawing & painting, scrap booking, traveling a bit ... ahhhh...
Congratulations & all the best to Mrs. Farrell!
Mrs. Farrell will take on the challenge to play & learn with three year olds in 2022/23!
Little learners will be in good hands! I want to wish her well as she begins this new adventure. - Mrs. Atilano will continue as the Teacher's Aid with three year olds!
Mrs. A & I want to wish you a great Summer - a Summer filled with as much fun & relaxation with family & friends as you can pack into it!
