New Mask Policy as of May 29th for the Catholic Parishes of Stoughton
As of Saturday, May 29, masks are no longer required for vaccinated people in the State of Massachusetts. The State does advise that non-vaccinated people continue to wear masks.
As we reopen, we understand that people will be at different levels of comfort and readiness for mask removal and sitting near each other. Please be respectful of each other and the boundaries people will set for themselves and their families.
We encourage parishioners to sit where they feel comfortable at mass. Please continue entering the church through the front doors and exiting the church by the side doors. At this time, we will continue to still use the collection boxes. Please consider signing up for online giving. It is a safe way to consistently support our collaborative.
Our collaborative is made up of many different ministries which strengthen and support our Catholic community. Please be aware that not all our ministries are ready to meet again but please check our website, Facebook page, Flocknote and Bulletin for ministry updates.
The dispensation from the obligation for coming to Sunday Mass has not yet been lifted, and even when it is, if a parishioner is feeling ill, they should remain at home. We will continue to be airing our Sunday mass on our local cable access channel SMAC on Sundays at 8:30am as well as on our Facebook and YouTube pages.
If you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to reach out to the parish office.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we maneuver through the lifting of COVID restrictions.
