Yesterday, members of the parish staff, parish council and your priests met to discuss the recent guidance issued by the Archdiocese of New York in regards to the easing of COVID-19 restrictions. The Archdiocese has released the following:
Because our churches are open to the public as a welcome place for people regardless of vaccination status, we welcome those who are fully vaccinated to remove their masks (if they feel comfortable doing so), those who may be fully vaccinated but wish to continue to follow distancing practices and those required to wear masks and engage in physical distancing.
Based on that meeting and the above guidance, we have elected to put the below seating into effect NEXT WEEKEND, June 5-6. Masks and distancing practices will still be followed as usual for this upcoming weekend.
As noted above, bulletins and hymnals will once again be available starting next weekend, June 5-6. The collection will also begin to be taken up by the ushers using long-handled baskets next weekend, June 5-6. Enhanced cleaning practices in both churches will continue and hand sanitizer will continue to be available.
