Final Note from PTO
Thank you to ALL of our amazingly supportive parents-from your donations to the teacher lunch funds, teacher appreciation week, Christmas and birthday funds, to the everyday donations of bottled water, plasticware and anything else our teachers needed. This was a year like no other and everything you did outside of the building supported their work to help your student(s) grow and learn inside.
Because of the ongoing support from all of you, we were able to fund Chrome Books, clever touch boards, online programs for some classrooms, new computers for the teachers, new gym equipment, seat sacks, graduation and do a number of activities to bring a few extra smiles to the students and teachers faces during this past year.
As we go forward, we will continue to work with the School administration to identify funding needs for the school.
For the 2021-2022 school year, we will be bringing back poster parties full force! What's a poster party, you ask? A poster party is a party hosted by a family or group of families and people pay to attend. The cost of the party is donated by the hosts and the proceeds go to PTO. Your party could accommodate as few as 15 people or as many as 200, and be open to the entire school, or it could be a grade-level parent party OR a grade-level student party. Some past parties have included: Kentucky Derby, Sigma Tau Pi (STP fraternity party), Pamper Party, Wine Night, etc. Contact PTO President Kate Haher THIS SUMMER to get your party idea organized and on the calendar for the year!
