Dear Epiphany Family,
It is with deep sadness we share with you that our longtime minister and employee of Epiphany, Dave Clark, went to the Lord on Friday, May 21st. This loss is tremendously felt by his wife Cindy, their three children, his mother and brother, and we will continue to focus our prayers for their consolation and comfort at this time. Dave’s passing is also a profound loss to all of us at Epiphany, especially our Faith Formation department, who loved serving the Lord and our Church with him. We know Dave had a passion for leading our families closer to Jesus Christ.
We would like to express our most heartfelt gratitude for his dedication and ministry to Epiphany for twenty years and his service to the Catholic Church for many more years before us. Dave wore many hats: He was a son, brother, husband, father, catechist, youth minister, DJ, elementary coordinator, parish life minister, and so much more. At the root of this, Dave realized he was a beloved child of God and because of God’s love, chose to love others.
He loved his Epiphany Family and hosting events to bring people together in a variety of ways. His legendary events for junior high students, Family Fun Nights, Confirmation Retreats, Epiphanics, Mission Trips to Mexico, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico were all made possible by his dream big mentality of sharing the Gospel message to everyone he encountered. Dave spoke the Christian language of faith, hope, and charity as evident by the countless lives he has impacted.
Your prayers and vigils for Dave have been a source of comfort not just to his family but also to Dave as well. Let us continue to be a source of spiritual support for Dave’s family in these coming months by being the light of Christ Dave taught us to be. We will be able to offer our condolences at the funeral Vigil for Dave on Friday, June 4th with visitation starting 5:00pm with the Prayer Service starting at 7:00pm here at Epiphany Church. The Funeral Mass will be on Saturday, June 5th at 12:00 noon in the Church with a reception to follow at the Family Center.
Devotedly yours in Christ,
Fr. Tom Lam Joey Harvey
