Synod Small Group Sessions
Watch for Your Invite This Fall!
Staff and Leaders are currently attending training sessions for the upcoming Synod 2022 small group discussions. We invite you to attend these sessions and provide your input. Light meals will be provided.
Topics Include:
#1 Forming parishes that are in the service of evangelization.
#2 Forming missionary disciples who know Jesus’ love and respond to his call.
#3 Forming youth and young adults in and for a Church that is always young.

The Peace and Justice Advocacy Commission was formed with a goal of providing opportunities for our parish to learn, discuss and engage in action on current issues that we face each day. Building equity through action, we seek to do this work through our Faith as Catholics, and with a prayerful focus on the principles of Catholic Social Teaching - a rich treasure of wisdom about building a just society and living lives of holiness amidst the changes of modern society.

Dispensation Will End July 1
As the pandemic subsides, and public gathering restrictions and safety protocols are lifted, it is time to gather as the Body of Christ once again. Therefore, the bishops and diocesan administrators of the Minnesota Catholic Conference have decided to reinstate the obligation to attend Mass on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation beginning the weekend of July 3-4, 2021.

After this time, there remains reasons why a Catholic has a continued dispensation from the Sunday obligation, including when he or she is ill or serving as caretaker for one who cannot attend Mass. The faithful who do not attend Mass in person are asked to find a Mass on TV, the radio or online and make a Spiritual Communion. Where that is not an option, it would be appropriate to pray the Liturgy of the Hours or the Rosary.
A Call For Help!
As Masses continue to be offered, we are in GREAT NEED of ministry servers OF ALL AGES to assist as parking lot attendants, front door check-in greeters, ushers, and Mass servers including lectors and Eucharistic Ministers. Choose your day and time that works with your schedule! Together, let’s serve the Lord and each other.
