Each week I search the best of the internet for sacred choral music that aligns with the Weekend's scripture readings and post several selections on our website at Choral Music Worth Hearing.
In honor of this weekend's solemnity also being our Parish Feast Day, there are opportunities for adoration and procession at several churches. If you are unable to attend any in person, I have provided a soothing video here of adoration accompanied by the entrance chant appropriate for the feast of Corpus Christi.
In addition, you will enjoy two selections at our main page that take this theme even further, one a 4-part setting by English composer William Byrd, and one a Gregorian chant whose video highlights tapestries and other religious art that underscores just how long we as Catholics have adored the Eucharist and processed with the Blessed Sacrament on this feast. In addition I've included two takes on the ancient sequence Lauda Sion, text penned by Thomas Aquinas.
