As I have been saying for the past few weeks, there are several opportunities for high school youth to grow deeper in their faith in the Philadelphia area during the next few months. Please consider attending one of more of these events! If you are interested and need more information about any of these events, please contact me directly, and I will gladly help you in any way I can. For some of these events, I plan on being present personally, and for one of them, I am presenting a talk. The details I have are below. I am also willing to provide financial assistance (or even cover the full cost) to anyone who wants to attend any of these events.

Saint Mary of Providence Retreat Center

This retreat has been created for teens by teens, and its focus is overcoming Life’s challenges with God’s help. Through interactive presentations, discussions, and group activities, teens will come to discover and appreciate how they are “chosen, wanted, loved, and redeemed” as “children of God.” (Ephesians 1:3-14)
Retreatants will come to experience the light of Christ in one another, the love of their families, and the Sacraments.
This retreat is being presented by graduating Seniors from Bishop Shanahan High School, under the direction of their Principal, Father John Donia. Father Donia is my classmate from the Seminary, and I plan on being present throughout the weekend as well.
This retreat is recommended for students finishing 8th grade through entering Senior year of high school.
The cost of the retreat is $110, however financial assistance is available. Please contact me directly to inquire.

PURPOSE is a day conference for High School Youth. This is being held as an alternative to attending a Steubenville Summer Youth Conference. One of the speakers is a long time Steubenville speaker (and Montgomery County native) "Righteous B" (Bob Lesnefsky).
