He indeed died for all, so that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised. (From 2 Corinthians 5)
Since Jesus died for ALL, and since we’re called to live not for ourselves, but for Him, and since we’re called to serve the LORD by serving one another, why do have so many enemies? Just because I got a Covid vaccine and you didn’t, doesn’t mean we need to be enemies! Just because I wore a mask (and still have to wear one at work) and you don’t, doesn’t mean we need to be enemies! Just because we voted differently, it doesn’t mean we need to be enemies! Just because we might go to different churches, it doesn’t mean we need to be enemies! Just because our skin colors are different, it doesn’t mean we need to be enemies! Just because our hospitals/clinics may be competitors, it doesn’t mean we need to be enemies! Just because our kids compete against one another in sports and school, it doesn’t mean we need to be enemies! Christ died for us ALL and by his life and death we are all adopted sons and daughters of God, so that means we’re not enemies, but a family! Let us unite, my sisters and brothers in Christ, and let peace reign between us and then share it throughout the world with all you meet! Amen
