Dear Friend,
Often we find ourselves asking "when O Lord?" We ask for warmth in the midst of snowy winters, we ask for rain in the midst of droughts (like we are doing now). When O Lord will thing's change?
For months, we have been wondering when life could get back to "normal" and with a sigh of relief to many, this past week the city of Chicago saw a lot of activity return, though not entirely.
It's a great feeling and we're glad that participation in church activities has begun to resume some normalcy as well, though not entirely. We invite you to join us the Sunday at either the 9:00am or 11:00am Mass knowing the following changes are in place:
- Masks are required unless you have been vaccinated. Masks are encouraged for everyone in order to set an example and sense of comfort for our children who must wear masks and cannot yet be vaccinated.
- Reservations are no longer required.
- We retain one pew's distance between parties for added safety.
When O Lord will we dispose of these requirements? When will we return to our normal Mass schedule? No one knows for certain and the instructions from the Archdiocese are still fluid. Please check your email later in the week as we may have an update to the reopening of our 4:00pm Mass on Saturday evening.
Resources to pray at home with your household this weekend will be emailed to you on Saturday morning and the live stream of our Mass is always available at
