…as we forgive those…
Can you honestly finish that sentence? Most of us-if we were honest-would have to say it is not always the easiest one to recite. And for many, the last thirteen months have made it even tougher. Take our personal issues and add to it the stress created by the pandemic and a contentious election and we have enough anger, hurt and resentment to really make that all-too-important line of the Lord’s Prayer stick in our throats.
If you agree with the above paragraph, set aside the mornings of July 7th, 8th, and 9th and come to Learning to Forgive: Finishing the Sentence.
10:00AM-11:30AM. We will revisit Dr. Dorothy Donnelly’s book Learning to Forgive with some added reflections. There will also be an opportunity for discussion. Forgiveness doesn’t happen overnight. It is a process. The goal of these three days will be to set participants on the path that leads to pardon and peace.
Reading the book is not required and there is no fee but registration is requested. The location of the event will be announced once we know how many will be attending. To register call the rectory at 216-731-1515 or email
