Dear CtRCS Families,
I hope this first of four Summer Chronicles finds you well and enjoying your summer. A special welcome to the many new CtRCS families who are receiving our family newsletter for the very first time! During the school year, The Chronicle is our primary means of communications and is emailed each Thursday evening.
I would like to officially thank the following faculty and staff members who have moved on from CtRCS and will start new journeys next school year: Alison Clancy, Tamara Freeman, Renee Saunier, and Julie Crover. A sincere thank you to each of these ladies for their commitment and contributions to CtRCS over the years. We wish them all the best in their new endeavors.
I would also like to thank Ms. Ann Justus, who served as our lunch service provider over the past five years. Ann will also be moving on from CtRCS in the coming school year. With that said, after a careful selection process involving three highly recommended companies, we are excited to announce that Road Runner Foods will be our new lunch provider. Our focus during the selection process was on healthy, tasty, kid-friendly meals that kept lunch affordable for our families. In addition, we were looking for a company that had a well-established history working successfully and efficiently with schools and their families. We found all of these qualities in Road Runner Foods. We will have more specific information about pricing, the ordering and payment process, and menu items in our next Chronicle. In the meantime, you can learn a bit more about Road Runner Foods
HERE.
Finally, we are delighted to announce our Theme for the 2021-2022 school year: Crusader Community - Stronger Together. We feel this captures one of the greatest things about CtRCS: the tight-knit, community-focused school that we are! To accompany this theme, we have selected the following verse from Ephesians, Chapter 2: Be completely humble and gentle, be patient, bearing with one another in love.
Again, may you continue to enjoy your summer vacation. Look for our remaining summer Chronicles on the following dates:
• Thursday, July 29th
• Thursday, Aug. 12th
• Thursday, Aug. 19th
In His Service,
Dan Courtney
