The Sunday Mass obligation was reinstated in the Archdiocese of San Francisco effective June 24. Exemptions will continue to be offered for those with health issues. Archbishop Cordileone welcomes the faithful back in the video (above) and linked here in
Spanish and English.
You are invited to the next Restorative Justice Breakfast on Saturday, July 10 at 8 a.m. It will be held at St. Agnes Parish in San Francisco. These breakfasts support scholarship stipends for students on probation or parole who are working toward positive change in their lives. They provide a time to hear stories and build community, while helping to fund the program.
The inaugural breakfast was held last month and was a great opportunity for the students and supporters to get to know each other. Twelve of the student participants were in attendance, along with other community members. Photos and more information can be found here:
https://www.sfarchdiocese.org/rjministry-reentryscholarships. The program is run in collaboration with Excell Network.
The final issue of Catholic San Francisco newspaper should have arrived in mailboxes. Next up will be a Catholic San Francisco magazine with the first issue slated for September. Current recipients of Catholic San Francisco newspaper will receive the magazine. Parishioners in the Archdiocese of San Francisco's three counties who were not receiving the newspaper and want to receive the magazine, free to parishioners, can send their information to csf@sfarchdiocese.org and put New Subscription in the subject line.
