FROM THE PASTOR’s DESK
It has been a very challenging and stressful year and half for all of us. Some time of rest, reflection and renewal is needed. This is exactly what I will do. I will be on a 2-week time off from July 7 - 21.
In my absence, Fr. Henry Nwanguma will be in residence at the Rectory for daily priestly ministry in the Parish for the period of my time off. He will celebrate Masses, attend to sick calls, preside at funeral (if any comes up) and conduct Eucharistic Adoration.
If there is a need for a priest or any other concerns that require urgent attention, please call the parish Office.
My elder brother Ken is visiting from Pittsburgh to spend the 4th with me. He will be with me from July 2 to July 5. During his stay, we will participate at the Independence Parade in North Middleboro on July 3. On July 4, we will enjoy a Boat Ride on Long Pond from 7.30pm to 9.00pm that will allow us a unique opportunity to have a good view of the beautiful sunset and experience the independence fireworks out on the lake.
On July 6, I will travel with Ken to Pittsburgh to visit his family and spend some time with his 3 kids: Kristen, Brennan and Britney. My two brothers here in the U.S. (Ken & Alvan) and their families were unavoidably absent at my installation as Pastor due to very strict interstate Covid-19 travel protocols at the time.
Wishing all a Happy 4th!JT.
