Hello everyone!
If you are receiving this newsletter that means your child is in St. Joseph's youth ministry! We are Sam Shepard and McKenzie Neu, parishioners from St. Joseph's and your youth ministers! We are so excited to serve as part of this beautiful community.
High school youth nights are called Journey and middle school youth nights are called Ignite. These will be times for growth, fun, and fellowship. Read for more information on the activities coming up.
We will be sending weekly newsletters to keep you up to date on the fun and exciting things we have going on. We can't wait to meet each of you and your youth!
Thank you and God Bless!
-Sam and McKenzie
Ignite Nights:
Ignite is a safe and fun place for youth in grades 6th-8th to grow in their faith. We meet Sunday nights after the 5:30 mass in the St. Joseph's Secondary School Gym and end at 8:30 pm. We start the youth nights with dinner and social time, and then go into games, talks, small group, and other activities to help the youth grow in their faith. Please join us! We would love to have you!
Ignite Family Night
October 29th 6:30-8:30
Calling all parents of middle school youth! You are invited to attend our family night at Ignite! We will be talking about the importance of family, and we would love for you to be there! If you will be attending and will be eating the meal provided at Ignite, please RSVP here and let us know how many will be eating! Ignite meets on Sundays from 6:30-8:30 pm in the Gym at the St. Joseph Secondary Campus.
Last Week: We talked about the moral life and how to live it, and we wrote down graces that we would like the Holy Spirit to give us to live out the life we were meant to live. Next Week: We will be starting our series on the 10 Commandments, talking about the first three Commandments, which focus on Honoring God.
