On Friday, July 16 at 6:00 p.m. in the Great Hall we will celebrate the Blessing and Investiture with the Brown Scapular. The Brown Scapular will be provided or you are welcome to bring your personal Brown Scapular as well for blessing and investiture.

During the ceremony of investiture, the priest will place the Brown Scapular upon each recipient with these words: “Receive this blessed scapular and beseech the Blessed Virgin that through her merits, you may wear it without stain.  May it defend you against all adversity and accompany you to eternal life.  Amen.”

El viernes 16 de julio a las 6:00 p.m. en el gran salón, vamos a celebrar la Bendición e Investidura del Escapulario. El Escapulario se les va a dar aquí. O si desean pueden traer su Escapulario personal para bendecirlo y recibir su investidura.

Durante la ceremonia de Investidura, el sacerdote va a colocar un escapulario de lana café sobre cada persona que lo recibe, con estas palabras: "Recibe este escapulario bendecido, y ruega a la Santísima Virgen que por sus méritos, lo lleves dignamente sin mancha. Que te proteja contra toda adversidad y te acompañe a la vida eterna. Amén"

COVID Vaccines will be offered at the Lake Travis Crisis Ministries from 5 PM-8 PM on Wednesday July 21, with the follow up vaccine to be given on Wednesday August 11, from 5 PM-8 PM. The Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson vaccine will be available free of charge. Anyone over the age of 12 is eligible to receive the vaccine.

The Helping Hand Crisis Ministry needs drivers to pick up food from the Central Texas Food Bank (CTFB) each Monday morning at 9 AM and deliver it to 512 N Pace Bend Road,  Volunteers need to be available approximately once every eight weeks and will use their own vehicle. The whole process takes about three to four hours. Each Tuesday afternoon the food you delivered is distributed to those who are in need in your community.
