Catholic Refresher/Sacrament Prep Session
Are you thinking about becoming Catholic? Do you have questions about the Catholic Faith, or are you needing to receive any sacraments? A new adult initiation series will be starting in August. This is for any adults needing to receive sacraments of Baptism, Communion, Confirmation, or for anyone simply wanting to learn more about the Catholic faith. Sunday Nursery Update
Help us spiff it up and staff it!
We are renovating the parish nursery for re-opening in Sept. and would love your help in making it a welcoming space for our youngest parishioners.
Our wish list includes a crib, a rocking chair and a TV (32”-40”).
We are hiring!
We need to hire an adult part-time nursery coordinator, as well as child-care providers who are at least 15 years old, to care for the children during the 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Sunday Masses. Contact Amy Allert in the parish office.
New Grief Support Program
Begins August 12th
Those who are struggling with bereavement are invited to be a part of a new grief support session at St. Theresa. Let us walk alongside you as you mourn. We will meet 6:30 p.m. on Thursday evenings beginning August 12th, for eight sessions. Invite a friend who might benefit. Contact Ryan Pollock with questions.
Are You Interested in Caregiver Support?
We are looking into starting a support group for those who are caregivers of loved ones with a long-term illness or disease. If you are interested in participating in a caregiver support group either in-person or via Zoom, please contact Ryan Pollock by July 31st as we gauge community interest. Thank you.
School Supply Drive
We are collecting school supplies, August 1-8, for students of San Juan Diego Catholic High School, a small inner-city school in Austin that gives students valuable work experience along with a solid Catholic education. All students spend four days a week in the classroom and one day a week in a corporate internship in their desired field of study. Here is a list of the school supplies needed:
Senior Adults Movie Matinee on Monday
You are invited to our Monday Movie Matinee at 2:30 p.m. on July 12th. This month's movie is Lilies of the Field starring Sidney Poitier, who plays a traveling handyman who becomes the answer to the prayers of nuns who wish to build a chapel in the desert. RSVP Leslie Key. It's a timeless, funny and uplifting film!
Attention Parents of Teens
There will be an informational Confirmation meeting for parents on Sunday, August 8th, from 1:00-2:00 p.m. in the Great Room. This is for parents of eligible high schoolers in the 9th grade and up. Important information can be found HERE.

Please Pray for the repose of the soul of Paul Hickey. There is a Funeral Mass on Friday, July 16th at 1:30 p.m., a reception following in the Family Center and a graveside service at 4 p.m. at Austin Memorial Park. Visitation is at Cook Walden Funeral Home from 4-6 p.m. on July 15th, Rosary at 6 p.m.
