“The Over 50” Club
“The Over 50” Club will resume on Friday, August 6, at the IHOP on Rockville Pike. A big welcome back for the returning members and anyone new that would like to join us. If interested, please call Charlene Hubbard at 301-942-1522.
We’re Happy to Announce…
The celebration of monthly Mass at Brighton Gardens resumed on Saturday, July 17th. Father Perkins graciously welcomed all those present, spoke about Holy Cross, Sister Veronica and his history with the facility. Father thanked the Brighton Gardens staff and Holy Cross volunteers who helped with the Mass.
Close to thirty people, including a few non-Catholics, attended. It was good to see many of our regular attendees again.
It was truly lovely and a very special celebration of Mass.
60th Anniversary Cookbook Needs Your Special Recipes - Send it today!
The 60th anniversary committee is in the process of putting together a commemorative cookbook, filled with the amazing recipes from all of you!
We invite you to send in your favorite recipe and a photo, if you have it, to hc60anniversary@gmail.com. Please be sure to include how you would like to be listed under your recipe. We have seen some delicious recipes come in! Recipes will be accepted until July 30th!
Registration for Religious Education from Grades 1-8 will open the first week of August. Registrations will be accepted until September 6. Families who attended the School of Religion last year will receive an email with a link to the registration form. New families are asked to email Michelle Ilagan at ilagan@hcrosschurch.org to access the form.

CURRENT MASS AND CONFESSION SCHEDULE
The dispensation from Sunday and Holy Days Mass obligation has been lifted and the obligation was reinstated beginning Saturday, June 26, and Sunday, June 27. We look forward to safely welcoming you back into our beautiful sacred space. Wipes for the pews and hand sanitizer will continue to be available for your use. The clergy will continue to sanitize their hands during the distribution of the Eucharist. The faithful are encouraged to remain respectful of their neighbor in all circumstances.

Sunday Mass - 9:30 am in Church

Weekday Masses are offered Monday thru Saturday at 8:30 am in Church
On Saturdays, Confessions are heard from 9:00 to 10:00 am.
Holy Cross 60th Anniversary Committee Wants Your Photos!
The Holy Cross 60th Anniversary Committee is looking for photos from the far or recent past, to share as a part of celebrating the 60th anniversary of our church and school.
