Hello Parish Family,

We have some exciting events coming up at the parish!

If you are interested in helping with Children's Liturgy of the Word as a catechist or aide, please contact Alyssa at aobrien@holyfamilyshorewood.org.

If you are interested in helping prepare families for their child's baptism, as part of a baptism preparation team, contact Melissa at 815-531-3764 to discuss and discern if that is a ministry that God is calling you to be involved with.

If you would like to help adults prepare for Baptism, First Communion and Confirmation as part of the RCIA team, contact Melissa at 815-531-3764.

Religious Education

Passing on our Faith and Catholic Traditions!

We are now open for Religious Education Registration for RE 2021/222.

RE Office hours:

Monday, Wednesday: 2pm-7pm

Thursday: 1pm-4pm

Registration packets are available online here, or you can register in person.

Hey Moms of school-aged children! Would you be interested in a mom's podcast group at the parish?

If yes, please take this short survey to help us determine the best time/day etc and gauge interest.

Info: The thought is that you would listen to a specific podcast on your own and then we would come together to discuss it and pray together. Coffee and light refreshments would be served. Children are welcome and would have a play area in the same room so that we can keep an eye on them.

There would be no formal commitment; come as often as you like!

Additional Confession times!

In addition to Saturday mornings, the Sacrament of Reconciliation will be offered from 6pm-7pm during Eucharistic Adoration on the first and third Tuesday of the month.

Holy Family 7th annual

5k Run/Walk

Saturday, August 14th at 8:00am

All students, parents, friends, and neighbors are invited to participate in our annual 5K. The event begins at Holy Family School, continues through scenic Hammel Woods and ends back at Holy Family School. All proceeds from this event support the students of Holy Family. All runners and walkers are invited to participate in this great event.

T-shirt pick up:

Friday, August 13 from 4pm to 7pm

and Saturday, August 14 from 7am to 7:45 am

Cost: $20
