We are pleased to announce that MaryKatherine Deschamp has accepted the role as part-time Marketing and Development Coordinator. In addition to her role as Music teacher and part-time receptionist, MaryKatherine will help plan, develop, coordinate, and evaluate fundraising and public relations/marketing activities for Holy Cross Catholic School. She will also lead the admissions information and tour process. We are very thankful to have MaryKatherine fulfilling this role. She is a person with many talents, and she'll do a great job.

Summer Volunteer Opportunities

Please look through the volunteer opportunities and sign up as you are able. Your time will count towards the 10 volunteer hours each family is required to do for the 2021-2022 school year. 5 volunteer hours are required for Preschool and PreK families. The summer is a great time to get started on those requirements early! We would especially love to have as many people signed up to walk in the Lonsdale Community Parade on August 14th!

WE'RE HIRING!

One food service worker for the 2021-22 school year.

This position works Tuesday through Friday, 8 am - 1 pm, on school days only, but Holy Cross is willing to be flexible with days/times if necessary.

Some of the job responsibilities include food preparation, serving school lunches, etc.

Health Para

This position is responsible for the implementation of individual student health plans, caring for ill and injured students, medication administration, and maintaining student health records. Works with students, parents, and staff to maintain the health and well-being of all. This position is an employee of the New Prague School District. Please follow the link to apply.

Tutor/Exceptional Learning Teacher

We are now accepting resumes for the position of Part-Time (approximately 14 hours per week) Exceptional Learning teacher for the 2021-22 school year. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, flexible, experienced in teaching/tutoring elementary to middle school students. Experience with Response to Intervention (RTI) methods would be helpful but we will train the individual as necessary.

UNIFORM SWAP
This is a great way to recycle uniforms and save money!

Our first uniform swap will take place at the 8/5/21 Food Truck Event here at Holy Cross. You are free to take any uniform items you may need and/or leave any outgrown current uniform items for others. Feel free to "shop" even if you don't have items to donate. There will be a table labeled "uniform swap" at the event.
