Abundant Grace
"The hand of the Lord feeds us, he answers all our needs," the Psalmist declares, and our first reading describes how God feeds his people through the prophet Elisha.
God loves us and desires us to nourish us in spirit and in body. From five loaves and two fish, Jesus feeds over five thousand. Christ lavishes his grace on us, even when, and especially when, we don't deserve it. How will we share in this grace?
When we "live in a manner worthy of our call," as Paul exhorts us, we overflow these abundant graces onto others in our lives--friends, family members, co-workers, and strangers.
We invite you to watch this short video below from Sr. Josephine Garrett from our new series Catholicism 101 to learn more about Mary, the Mother of Christ, and how she lives this abundant grace and walks with us on this mystery of knowing her son Jesus:
