Brothers and sisters,
We always give thanks to God for all of you, making mention of you in our prayers. 1 Thessalonians 1:2
This Sunday, we recall the miracle of the multiplication of the loaves and fish. This is but one of the many miracles that Jesus performed while He walked the earth; but it was not his first public miracle. Do you remember which miracle was the first?
(Hint: the answer is in the bulletin)
God's miracles abound all around us, but sometimes we struggle to see them and give thanks to God. I am thankful to those of you who signed up for our Blood Drive this Sunday... we are FULL. Those who will receive your life-saving blood are thankful, too!
We will particularly thank God for the gift of our grandparents and elderly parishioners this Sunday. I hope that you invite your grandparents to attend Mass with you this weekend.
Come to Mass and thank God, who is the giver of all good things... after all, it is right and just to give Him thanks and praise! We look forward to welcoming you.
Together, let us glorify Christ's Holy Name,
Father Erik Esparza1
