Rerouting
Join Chris Spanberger & Peggy Law for Rerouting, a 5-week small group study. It’s on Wednesday nights at 6:30 p.m. in the PLC Library, starting August 4. For more information, contact the parish office. Many faithful today feel lost, like they either lost their map, or have just a piece. This study helps you come face to face with Christ as the Church has proclaimed Him. If you're ready to align yourself with God's Positioning System (GPS), this group is for you.
Parish Pictorial Directory
On the occasion of our 150th Anniversary, St. Elizabeth is doing a new pictorial directory! We want everyone to get a new picture made so that our directory will be complete. IT WON’T BE COMPLETE WITHOUT YOU!
You can make your appointment online or we will help you do it after Mass. Photo dates will be August 10-14, 27 and 28.
Sponsors for Watoto Childrens Choir
Next summer, we hope to host a Christian youth choir from Uganda. They would be here for a short time and perform in concert for the community. In order to accomplish this, we would need 10 host families to step up and be willing to provide accommodations to the team. If you would be interested, please contact the parish office at 877-3300.
Homebound or Nursing Home Residents
We are in the process of updating our list of homebound parishioners and those who currently reside in a nursing/assisted living facility. Our hope is to make sure that everyone is being ministered to as needed. If you know of someone who is recently homebound, new to or recently changed facilities, or otherwise is not being visited, please contact the parish office and let us know. Thank you!
Time Change for Sunday Holy Hour
Starting NEXT Sunday, August 8, we’re going to move our Sunday Holy Hour with Adoration, Vespers, and Benediction from 7-8 p.m. to 8-9 p.m. Those who have been attending consistently have indicated this will work for them, and this will facilitate our choir reinitiating practices, and hopefully more parishioners can start joining us! We’ll also change to praying Compline (Night Prayer) instead of Vespers. Wrap up your weekend with Adoration, Sunday Compline, and a Eucharistic Blessing on Sundays from 8-9 p.m. Bring the family!
