Student Registration
If your family is new to the parish or if you have a (public school) student entering Pre-K through 8th grade, now is the time to register for the 2021-2022 Christian Formation year! Email Stephanie Moss (smoss@stelizabethchurchmd.org) to get early registration information. Register on or before Friday, August 6th for a discounted rate. Rates go up on August 7th!!
Could you be called to help?
Do you have a love of the faith and a passion for our young people in the Church? Why not consider serving as a small group leader or Catechist? No experience is needed… just a willingness to say “yes” to Christ’s call to go and make disciples of all the nations (Mt. 28:19). The Gabriel Project of MoCo Needs Your Support of Our Local Pregnant Mothers and Their Babies
The Gabriel Project Cluster of Montgomery County is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization that assists low-income pregnant women and their children. During the pandemic and economic crisis, the need for the Gabriel Project’s services has grown tremendously while typical sources of support are greatly reduced. During this time of crisis, you can help provide critically needed material resources by purchasing essential items like baby gear, diapers, and clothing through the Gabriel Project’s Amazon Charity List. Walking with Purpose—Women’s Bible Study
We would like to welcome women of the parish to join us this Fall for our next Walking with Purpose Bible Study, Discovering Our Dignity. Women of the Old and New Testaments were as flawed and broken as we can be, yet the power of God worked in their lives. Learn from their experiences in Discovering Our Dignity, a 22-lesson Bible study. Through their stories recorded in Scripture, women of the Bible reach out to touch our “present” in a tender, honest and loving way -- woman to woman -- with ancient wisdom, sage advice, and insights from sorrowful failures and emotional wounds. Learn how God worked in the lives of Biblical women: Sisters Leah and Rachel overcame jealousy when they learned that God offered all that they really needed. Abigail’s faith was so strong she didn’t despair, no matter how unpleasant life was with her husband. Deborah had been given grace by God to act as His prophet, for the good of her people
