Greetings from Catholic Campus Ministry! It certainly seems like fall has arrived, as late as it is. Well, better late than never! So, here's what's going on around campus ministry this week!

RCIA--7:30pm. Divine Revelation...or how a Catholic Reads the Bible
If you are interested in exploring the Catholic Faith, contact Nic for more details! Tonight, we will talk about how Catholics read scripture...is the Bible literally true? Why does a Catholic Bible have more books than a Protestant Bible? Why don't Catholics read the Bible?

Bosco Night--Catechesis/Teaching
Tonight, after dinner, we will talk about a key component of the Protestant Reformation: faith vs. works. Are we saved because of our faith, or because of things we do? (Hint: it's both!). We'll also talk a little bit about the Protestant Reformation, as the 500th Anniversary of Luther's nailing his 95 Theses is on October 31!!

5th Anniversary of the Chapel!
At Mass today, we'll celebrate the fifth anniversary of the Dedication of the Chapel and Altar! After the 11am Mass, we'll have a small celebration with donut holes from Bill's Donuts, and sandwiches. And, just in case you'd like to know, Fr. Ed will probably use incense at the 11am Mass!

Feast of All Saints--a Holy Day of Obligation!
To celebrate the Feast of All Saints, we'll have two Masses this day...one at 12:15pm, and one at 6:30pm. This is the day we as the Church celebrate all the Saints in heaven...those the whole Church knows by name, and all the other multitudes who have reached the glory of heaven! We ask them to pray for us as we seek to reach that glory as well!

DON'T FORGET! Our Knights of Columbus Council began a canned food drive last week that will last to November 19th. All the food collected will go to St. Vincent de Paul in Dayton. We are having a friendly competition with the Knights Council in Fairborn--if we collect more canned goods than they do, they'll come over here some Sunday and make us breakfast! But if they collect more, we have to go cook for them! There is a place for your donations in the front lounge.
