Hello Epiphany Families,
As our parish continues to celebrate our 40th Anniversary, we also wish to reflect upon the purpose or mission of the Church. In Matthew’s Gospel, Jesus offers His disciples some final instructions before ascending to the Father. These closing words are known as the great commissioning in which Jesus offers a vision for what His Church should strive to do. What mission does Jesus entrust? “Go make disciples of all nations baptizing in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit; teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” In this brief statement Jesus empowers the Church to celebrate the sacraments and teach with the goal of creating disciples.
As Epiphany continues to open from the pandemic, we wanted to highlight that our parish is seeking to fulfill the call of Jesus through our sacramental and formation ministry. All our parishioners are welcome to participate in these beautiful experiences to help you learn more about the faith but more importantly become more intimately connected to the person of Jesus. While not a full, extensive list some opportunities that are currently accepting registrations include:
All our programs will be following the latest CDC, state, and archdiocesan protocols. Additionally, everything will have appropriate options to suite your needs/comfort levels.
As St. Padre Pio says, “He/She who does not move forward in their spiritual life is moving backward.” There is no middle ground to wait and there is so much more that our Lord wishes to offer you. Please contact a member of the Faith Formation staff today for information about any of these important programs. We look forward to the opportunity to help you grow closer to the Lord.
God bless,
- The Faith Formation Staff: Matt, Charlotte, Janet, Joey, Megan
** Be sure to visit the Ministry Fair this weekend after all the Masses in the Family Center for more information on all these programs and more.
