St. Ignatius Parish seeks an experienced, full-time Director of Faith Formation, who will be responsible for a comprehensive parish religious education program for children, teens, adults, and seniors, including sacramental preparation programs and youth ministry, striving to meet the objectives and policies of the ADSF Religious Education Office and the goals of a Jesuit Parish. The Director of Faith Formation will work with the Formation Commission and ministry volunteers. The Director will recruit, train and supervise volunteers and in-classroom catechists, program curricula; and is a Parish resource in catechetical methods and theology.
The successful candidate: 1) will be a practicing Catholic with a degree in theology, pastoral studies, religious education, or a related field (Master’s Degree preferred); 2) will have knowledge of Catholic doctrine and beliefs as presented in the documents of Vatican Council II, the Catechism of the Catholic Church and other relevant Church and Catechetical Documents; 3) must have updated knowledge of educational and Catechetical trends and practices; will have knowledge of the RCIA/RCIC process and the thorough understanding of the RCIA/RCIC text; 4) will have the ability to assess needs and use results to develop catechetical processes; 5) will have leadership and teambuilding abilities to direct religious education and Sacramental preparation programs; 6) will possess excellent planning, project management, organizational and collaborative skills; 7) will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others; will have computer literacy skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

St. Dominic's Church & Dominican Sacristan is a newly created position that will be responsible for all of the preparations necessary for the liturgical celebrations, ceremonies, devotions, and administration of the sacraments held in the church. This includes attending to the proper vestments, linens, books, prayer intentions, candles, vessels and supplies.
