Statement of Archbishop Nelson J. Pérez Regarding Reinstating the Obligation to Attend Sunday Mass
As many aspects of life are now returning to normalcy, each Catholic Bishop in Pennsylvania will reinstate the obligation to attend Mass in person on Sundays and Holy Days beginning on Sunday, August 15, 2021, the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Mass Schedule Remains the same thru Summer:
4:00 pm Saturday Vigil Mass, Sunday Masses: 7:30, 9:00, and 10:30 am
Rectory Office Summer Hours:
The Rectory will close one hour earlier on Fridays during the Summer months. Friday Summer Office Hours will be 8:30 am - 2:00 pm. The schedule remains the same Mon - Thurs 8:30 am - 4:00 pm
The Rectory will be closed Monday, September 6th for the Labor Day Holiday
We in Chester County are so excited about participating in the
PA March For Life coming up on September 27th, 2021 taking place in Harrisburg, PA.
It is a first time event for Pennsylvania, and we hope to have many people join us from our local community parishes.
A cost-free chartered bus is provided by the PA March Life for our convenience.
Jeannie Mancini, Pres. of National Right to Life and Abby Johnson, former Director of Planned Parenthood, are the featured speakers, along with many others participants. Bus seats are served on a first come basis. The bus is provided by the Klein Company, and it will be stationed at the Main St. Mall, located on 270 Indian Run off rout 100 and route 30, in Exton, PA.
It is a first time event for Pennsylvania, and we hope to have many people join us from our local community parishes.

The bus will be waiting between the BED AND BATH store and the LONGHORN STEAKHOUSE restaurant. The bus will depart Exton around 8:00 am, and will return at approximately 3:00 pm.
A donation for the bus driver is requested and it is recommended that everyone bring your own lunch or snacks

OUTREACH OPPORTUNITIES
A massive 7.2 magnitude earthquake hits Haiti, killing over 1900 people, with death toll numbers increasing.
The shock leveled homes, leaving thousands without shelter. Countless others are injured and hospitals are already overwhelmed.
Please keep the people of Haiti and the people of Afghanistan in your prayers.
Safe Harbor Meals
Safe Harbor in West Chester provides shelter, food and other services to individuals in need. We need help from Parish volunteers to prepared and drop off dinners for this very worthy cause on the following dates;

Archdiocesan Novena to St. Joseph

The Archdiocesan Novena to Saint Joseph can be prayed in any setting, especially before or after Holy Mass and/or at parish meetings, in the classroom and in the family home. The praying of this Novena is to unite everyone in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia on the 19th of each month, from March through November 2021, in single petition of confident prayer to the Lord through the heavenly intercession of Saint Joseph. Please keep in mind the monthly Archdiocesan intention, found on page 4 of the Novena below.

Holy Hours with the Good Shepherd
Need some encouragement? Join us for a holy hour with fellow priests, religious and lay faithful as we seek strength and hope from Jesus, our Good Shepherd, the saints and one another during these difficult times in the world and the Church. The Holy Hour includes Rosary, Litany and Benediction. Afterwards join us for a short talk on a saint, exploring how he or she remained faithful to Christ and His Church during the trials of his or her time. Meets quarterly on Sundays, 2-4 PM at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Drexel Hill, PA.
