Renaissance Farms, a Catholic Worker Farm, located in Barre, MA, works for environmental and social justice through outreach activities, and educational programs.
Renaissance Farms is looking for volunteers, 18 years of age and above who can commit to volunteering two (2) or more hours per week. The farm has been operated by the Gadbois family for the last ten years using ethically sound and environmentally conscientious practices. In addition to producing organically grown livestock and vegetables, Renaissance Farms also offers education in ethical and sustainable farming design and practices, through their FarmSchool. This is a great opportunity for families or parish groups.
