Help the children of our parish discover God's Word
Family of Faith, our family-centered children's faith formation program, is in need of additional adult and teen volunteers for the 2021-2022 year! We are currently looking for adults to serve as front desk staff and as catechists for our Pre-K/Kindergarten and Grade 1 classrooms. We are also looking for teens who would like to serve as aides in all classrooms. If you are interested in helping the children of our parish grow in their understanding of Jesus and of the Catholic faith, please reach out to me as soon as possible! If you would like to learn more about how you can lend a hand, we have volunteer meetings on Sunday, August 29, and Sunday, September 12 at 9:00 AM in the parish hall.
This year, St. Aloysius Church's Family of Faith program is introducing The Bible Timeline® to both parents and kids to help our families discover God’s plan of salvation. The Bible Timeline helps you get the “big picture” of God’s plan by showing how fourteen narrative books of the Bible tell the complete story from Adam and Eve to Christ and the Church. Many people want to read the Bible because they know it is God’s Word, but they give up because it seems so complicated. Family of Faith will help families discover how the story found in God’s Word is their story, the story that helps each of us make sense of life’s biggest questions.
