Looking for Choir Members. Would you like to meet some great people?! Do you like to sing in large groups?! Well we are the place for you!! Come join our choir, or become a cantor!. Please contact Nicholas Zurowski at nzurowski@stmstc.org. We are rehearse on Thursdays at 7 pm in the choir loft. No prior experience or ability to read music is necessary. The choir serves on Sunday during the 9:30 am Mass and on Feast Days. Come check us out!
Flowers for the Book of Life. In November The Book of Life will be available for all to remember their deceased family and friends. A flower arrangement will be placed in front of the Book of Life each week. If you would like to have a loved one remembered by sponsoring the flowers please notify Mary Washburn with a call to 410-937-5766, a text message or an email to: marywashburn123@zoominternet.net. Dates available are the weekend of November 6-7, 13-14, 20-21, 27-28.
Back to School Supplies Collection. The Belles of St. Marys’ are collecting school supplies for needy children in the Harford County area from now until the beginning of the school year. You can drop your contribution into the bin marked School Supplies is in the back of the church or they may be left in the hall. Some of the things that are needed:
- Backpacks, lunch boxes
- Pencil cases, pens, pencils
- 3 ring binders, dividers, filler paper
- Composition books, spiral notebooks
- Colored pencils, colored markers
- Pencil sharpeners, erasers
- 2 pocket folders
- Elmer’s glue sticks
- Rulers, highlighters
- Dry erase markers
Please do not attend Mass, Faith Formation, meetings, or parish events in person if you:
- Do not feel well
- Live with a family member or anyone that is experiencing COVID-like symptoms
- Have been in close contact with a person who either has COVID-19 or is suspected of having COVID-19 within the past 14 days
- Are awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test
- Have otherwise been ordered to quarantine or isolate.
Everyone is encouraged to wear a mask, whether vaccinated or not. Students and teachers are required to wear masks for Faith Formation classes.
Please get vaccinated.
Father Kunkel requires that clergy and lay ministers wear masks while distributing Communion and while in the sanctuary during Mass, except while reading or leading prayers.
Reminder - If you test positive for COVID-19 after attending activities, including Mass, at St. Mary's, please contact the parish office. The Archdiocese requires us to notify those who attended the same activity of the potential contact. Your identity is protected during the notification process.

Register NOW for Children's Faith Formation (CFF), Pre-K-8TH Grade and for 9th Grade High School Faith Formation. There are printed registration forms in the back of the church, and links to the information on the parish website. Please complete and return your forms immediately and return to them to the parish office.

Teen Volunteers Ages 14 – 17. As we begin to move forward as things open up we would love to invite our teens to get back into the swing of things and get excited to serve in our Parish. We need you! We need your enthusiasm, your joy, and your talents.
Worthy of the Call Training is for any of our teens who are 14 – 17 years of age and would like to volunteer for a ministry ie: (Altar serving, Sacristan, Lector, Usher, Music Ministry, Faith Formation Classroom Helper, VBS, Boy Scouts, Parish Events and Fundraisers, Outreach and Service Ministries). Teens must complete this training as we would love to have you volunteer in Parish Events and ministries.

The Food Pantry We are always in need of volunteers for the Food Pantry. If you are interested, please contact Sue Pardo (parfrm1@verizon.net). It only requires a few hours several Saturdays a year. Volunteers must be Virtus trained.
Respect Life
Save the Date: The LifeChain returns to Jarrettsville on Sunday, October 3. LifeChain is an international effort to call attention to the plight of the unborn and their mothers. Join in solidarity to pray for the sanctity of life for unborn people.
Pray for hearts and minds to soften to the plight of vulnerable people and write to your elected officials. Express your opposition to abortion and urge them to use their positions to protect the lives of all of our citizens, born and unborn.

Volunteers are the backbone of the parish and we welcome new volunteers with open arms. However, in the world today we must do everything we can to protect all people of all ages, the church and also yourself.

The training will provide insight for the protection of all age groups and the responsibilities. DON’T WORRY!! It is an easy procedure.
