Dear Walla Walla Catholic School Families,
It’s GO time! The Walla Walla Fair & Frontier Days is right around the corner, September 1-5, and we need your help to staff the WWCS Food Booth! Thank you to everyone who has already signed up to help, but we are still looking for volunteers to fill key positions.
Whether you are a new volunteer to the fair booth, just want to try a new volunteer position, or you are an experienced fair booth pro – we would love to have you! Most spots are just 3-4.5 hours, with on-site training! Since we only have the one booth this year, we have fewer spots to fill overall, but many openings still remain. Please help us fill them to ensure another successful fundraising event for our schools!
KEY POSITIONS TO FILL:
- DAYTIME SHIFTS: there are many openings, especially Thursday and Saturday.
- GRILL MASTERS: If you have grill experience or would like to be trained to run the grill – please contact Rosalie Lesko for more info, or call 509-520-2889.
- ICE RUNNERS: Daily Ice Runners 8:00 AM-9:30 AM each day (new position, see details below*)
- Plus several more!
Please check out the openings and sign up today!
Alternatively, you can sign-up for an opening in person at the WWCS Pool Party tonight, Friday, August 27 at 7:00 PM, at Memorial Pool!
Thank you for your continued support!

*Ice runners will fill large ice chests from DeSales and deliver them to the fair booth during morning prep each day of the fair.
Ice runners will do the following:
- Early on Thu, Fri, Sat and Sun mornings (8:00 AM), go to DeSales and fill up the two empty ice chests with ice (from kitchen and/or trainer’s room).
- Drive those two ice chests to the Fair booth and exchange them with the two empty ice chests in the breezeway just outside kitchen #5.
- Return the two empty ice chests to the DeSales kitchen to be filled up the next day.
- It is a job that will take 60-90 minutes for those four mornings.
