Through the years, tradition has taught us many things that are being fully defined by the Church today. More are open to these changes; however, many have not. My dear brothers and sisters, what is more, important is what we have inside our hearts and how we respond to it that concerns Jesus Christ.
One can show utmost piety but if they only care about “What they want, why they want it, when they want it and how they want it”, then it gives us a true picture of what they truly possess.
And, if they can’t get their way, they DEMAND what they claim are their rights without regard for RESPONSIBILITY that they owe themselves and others.
Let us look deep into our hearts and our actions. Do we simply concern ourselves with what we want or do we look at how our actions or inactions may affect others?
Do we allow ourselves to listen to the TRUTH or are we so blinded by our own self perceived “brilliance” that no one, not even the Church, can effect change in us?

REMINDER OF SS. PETER AND PAUL SAFETY PROTOCOLS:
- Only the 7 am Sunday Mass mandates that everyone uses a facemask and practice social distancing.
- The use of masks and social distancing is greatly urged on those who are unvaccinated at all the other masses. For those who have been vaccinated, it is highly recommended.
- Other than when they are speaking, Priests, Deacons, Lectors, and ushers will have to wear masks while in church.
- We will only give the Eucharist BY THE HAND. This is a TEMPORARY PRECAUTION during the PANDEMIC. NO EXCEPTIONS ARE ALLOWED.
- Due to safety concerns, ONLY THE SOUTHEAST DOOR will be open on weekdays. All doors will be open during weekends.
We are initiating an additional time for Adoration and Benediction.
The Holy Hour will occur every Friday @ 6:00 pm.

RCIA - Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults
Our Lord's parting words to his disciples were, "Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age" (Mt. 28:19-20).
Our RCIA community is forming for the 2021 / 2022 season.
The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) describes the RCIA as a process in which participants "undergo . . . conversion as they study the Gospel, profess faith in Jesus and the Catholic Church, and receive the sacraments . . . The RCIA process follows the ancient practice of the Church and was restored by the Second Vatican Council.”
