23rd Sunday in Ordinary Time
9/5/21
Dear St. Joseph Parish Family,
Next Sunday RCIA begins. RCIA stands for the “Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults” and it’s for adults, baptized or unbaptized, who want to enter the Catholic Church. It’s a class that teaches them about the teachings of the Catholic Church and forms them to live the Catholic spiritual life. RCIA meets after the 11:30 am Mass every Sunday and runs to Easter. If you know anyone who is considering becoming Catholic now is the time to ask him or her to start RCIA. They can
email Nicole, our Director of Religious Education, or email the parish to ask for more information or register for RCIA.
Also, if you are Catholic but have never received the Sacrament of Confirmation, you can also join RCIA in order to receive Confirmation at the Easter Vigil. Please sign up for RCIA in order to receive all the graces of Confirmation!
Finally,
CCD, or Religious Education for Children, is about to begin. If you have children who are not in Catholic schools then please sign them up for Religious Education so that they can receive the sacraments of First Communion, Confession, and Confirmation.
Email Nicole or the parish in order to sign your children up for Religious Education.
God Bless,
Fr. Boniface
